Whether you’re looking for luxury in an idyllic location or you want an affordable body wrap in your own backyard, Austin’s spa scene has the variety and serenity you need. Here are our 8 favorite spas to find some serenity now.

1. The LakeHouse Spa at Lake Austin Spa Resort

A peaceful escape just outside the city, the LakeHouse Spa at Lake Austin Spa Resort is located about 40 minutes from downtown, along the Colorado River. It’s an award-winning spa resort that’s been featured in Condé Nast Traveler, Southern Living, Travel + Leisure, and USA Today — earning a reputation as one of the best resorts in Austin.

Check yourself into the resort for a multi-day getaway, or simply book a day of relaxation at the spa. But, be warned, this spa’s world-class services don’t come cheaply.

Day spa packages start at $525 per person and go up from there. Most packages include a minimum of two spa treatments and a light lunch. You can also book individual spa services, from facials to massages to body wraps. With prices ranging from just over $100 to more than $1,000 per spa service, this is a true “treat yo’ self” experience!

2. Viva Day Spa

With three locations around Austin — one on South Lamar, one at the Domain, and one on 35th Street — it’s easy to find a Viva Day Spa near most Austin neighborhoods. This spa is also less of a splurge than the LakeHouse. It offers everyday treatments like manicures, pedicures, waxing, and sugaring, alongside specialty services like facials, hydrafacials, deep tissue massage, hot stone massage, and Swedish massage. The majority of services range from $70-300.

Viva also offers spa packages that range from under $200 to just over $600. Depending on the package you choose, you’ll indulge in some combination of facials, massages, reflexology, wraps, and sauna time. Viva Day Spa also has a med spa location, offering botox, laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation, and body contouring.

3. milk + honey spa

This spa and salon could become your go-to spot for all-things beauty. It’s one of the best hair salons in Austin and gives one of the best facials, too. The nail salon at milk + honey offers reasonably priced manis and pedis, starting at $35 for a traditional manicure and $45 for a traditional pedicure.

Among their salon services, milk + honey has deep tissue massages, sports massages, and specialty massages. Plus, they have body treatments that include body brushing, scrubs, scalp massage, detox steam treatments, and a hydrating body cocoon. This full-service salon also has a med spa, offering laser treatments, injectables, fillers, chemical peels, microneedling, and dermaplaning.

milk + honey also hosts regular spa parties where they have giveaways and offer discount rates. With four locations around the city, you’ll find this spa in the Arboretum, the 2nd Street District, Texas Hill Country, and South Lamar.

4. AWAY spa

Located in the W Hotel in Downtown Austin, the AWAY Spa gives you access to some of the hotel’s incredible amenities. As part of the spa experience, you can use the WET Deck, an adults-only rooftop pool that happens to be one of the best hotel pools in Austin.

The AWAY spa offers a large menu of massages and facials with prices in the $170-300 range. They also offer detox cupping therapy, body wraps and scrubs, mani-pedis, and waxing, so it’s the perfect place for self-care in the center of the city.

5. Organic Spa Massage & Skin Care

With massage right in the name, it should come as no surprise that Organic Spa Massage & Skin Care has a comprehensive list of massage options and add-ons.

Choose from individual and couple’s massages, or select a specialty massage, like deep tissue, reflexology, ashiatsu, or hot stone. All of the massage treatments include aromatherapy and a hot towel. And with prices as low as $39 for 25 minutes or as high as $219 for 110 minutes, this luxury fits most schedules and budgets.

This spa also offers a variety of organic facials, body treatments, and waxing services. It’s located on Research Blvd. in Northwest Austin, close to Cedar Park, one of the best suburbs of Austin.

6. Zen Blend Mind + Body Spa

With one of the best massages in Austin, the Zen Blend Mind + Body Spa focuses on alternative therapies that promote relaxation, decrease stress, and improve your overall wellness.

In addition to massages, the spa has an infrared sauna and an amethyst crystal healing bed to help your body detox. They also offer energy-healing reiki treatments.

Each of Zen Blend’s spa packages is followed by tea time and chocolate. Package prices range from $150-300. You can find this spa in South Austin, just north of Buda.

7. Spa Réveil

Located alongside the incredible shops and restaurants at the Domain, Spa Réveil is a top-rated Austin destination for relaxation, and it offers a variety of unique spa treatments. Spa Réveil describes itself as an exclusive sanctuary with treatments based on healing rituals from around the world.
